Kinder Village Café began with a simple idea: parents deserve a proper coffee and a real conversation, without watching the clock — or the climbing frame — every five seconds.
How it started
From one exhausted parent's idea to a village of them
Our founders were regulars at every café in town, and regularly asked to leave one — prams don’t fit between tightly-packed tables, and “quiet” cafés rarely stay that way with a toddler in tow.
So they built the place they wished existed: a bright, safe soft play area within arm’s reach of proper coffee, honest food, and chairs you can actually sit back in.
Today, Kinder Village is a home away from home for families with under 5’s — a place to meet new friends, watch your little one play safely, and finish a hot drink for once.

2023
An idea over cold coffee
Our founders sketched the first floor plan on a napkin — soft play in the middle, café tables all around it.
2024
Doors open
Kinder Village Café welcomed its first families, with a menu built around real ingredients and small appetites.

Weekly baby groups, birthday parties, and a community of regulars who now call it their local.
